The Shallowater Education Foundation understands the ongoing demands of the teaching field means that educators must continue their own professional development. The Foundation has committed 10% of proceeds from annual Kick-Off Events towards supporting professional development.
Professional development grants may be used for workshops, training events, or experiences that will enhance the teacher’s ability to effectively engage their students and improve instruction (excludes college courses). Professional development and training grants are available throughout the year until funds are depleted.
Funds are typically available after the fall start of school.
